# Use Goose with open models

> Let your coding agent add RunInfra's open models as a Goose custom provider.

RunInfra's open models get a custom provider next to your existing Goose providers.

## Set up

```text wrap theme={"dark"} theme={"dark"} theme={"dark"} theme={"dark"} theme={"dark"} theme={"dark"} theme={"dark"}
Set up RunInfra's open models in this coding agent for me. Read https://runinfra.ai/docs/tools-sdks/agent-setup.md and follow it step by step. If you cannot open links, run `npx -y @runinfra/cli@latest --help` and follow its FOR CODING AGENTS section. I approve sign-in in my browser. Before you install anything, change this agent's settings or spend money, show me the plan and wait for my yes.
```

Paste it into your agent, approve sign-in in your browser, and say yes to the plan. [All steps](/docs/tools-sdks/agent-setup)

## Start

Fully quit Goose, load the private environment file with the command your agent gives you, then start `goose` from that same terminal.
Repeat after key rotation. Never paste the key into your agent.
In the goose CLI, use `/model --provider runinfra`.
Start a new chat.

## Undo

Ask your agent to disconnect RunInfra. Your other providers stay; the private environment file is removed. Restart Goose from a new terminal.
